Bonsai are living breathing decorations that respond to seasonal changes. They are real trees and need to live outdoors. A bonsai plant allows you to have the full majesty of nature contained within a small space. They are not fixed in time and they are not dwarf versions of particular plants (they are not genetically different).
 
A bonsai is the tree and the pot brought together in visual harmony. They come in all sizes from trees grown in pots the size of a thimble (Shito and Mame) to man trees (Shohin) which are defined by the number of men it takes to move the plant.

Bubishi Institute offers a range of bonsai that are locally grown and outdoor ready. You can select from beginner bonsai (2-3 yr old) that are ready for you to individualise and then sit back and wait, or, for those who are a little bit more impatient, you can treat yourself to a beautiful aged bonsai. Bubishi offers advanced locally grown bonsai up to 30 yr old.
